Capita, the UK workplace health and wellbeing provider, has won a threeyear contract with Technip, a specialist in subsea engineering, technologies and project management for the oil and gas industry. Capita will provide occupational health services for 3,000 personnel based in Technip's office in Aberdeen in Scotland and in the company's offshore worksites.

As an early adopter of the Wellness Assessment Surveillance Portal (WASP)1, Technip will have the ability to undertake health surveillance via an intuitive set of questionnaires.

WASP provides centralised visibility of health surveillance records, through a web portal, to individuals and line managers. This allows 24-hour online access to records, which can be vital when working offshore.
